The CAR will present 3 projects that focus on the conservation of biodiversity and sustainability:

 

- Suma ... Páz, Sumando acciones por la PAZ:  A comprehensive program for the protection of the world's largest moorland, a producer of the water resource that supplies the center of the country, with endemic species of fauna and flora and which has a special meaning in the context of Post-conflict process and the agreements of Havana.

 

- Megaproyecto de Recuperación del Río Bogotá: 2 strategic lines of action namely: Hydraulic adaptation with recovery of zones of round and environmental sanitation to improve the quality of its waters. This water body crosses the central region of the country, including the capital and 45 more municipalities, it is said that it is dead and is one of the most polluted in the world, today presents very relevant transformations that even allow navigability for recreational purposes in Some of its stretches and works have been guarantees in winter season for the mitigation of the risk of floods that was constant in previous seasons, being together with its strategies of reforestation, landscaping, Clean production and environmental culture an effective formula in mitigation of change climate.

- Por Fuquene, todos de corazón: This project aims, under the figure of an Integrated Management District, to guarantee the recovery of the Fúquene, Cucunubá and Palacio lagoon complex. To date, there is progress in the participatory formulation of the respective Environmental Management Plan for the protection of this ecosystem, in addition, the CAR advances preventive works for hydrogeomorphological reconfiguration of this wetland.
