    For four years, the Impact USA programme developed by Business France and Bpifrance has been contributing to the acceleration of the implementation of French Tech startups in the United States. Until then, twelve startups were selected each year, benefiting from a bespoke coaching and ten weeks of immersion in the US. The 2018 novelty is not one but two promotions consisting of twelve startups. The first one will participate in a two-days bootcamp in February at the Bpifrance Hub and coaching from a Business France consultant. From April to June, seven of them will immerse in the San Francisco Silicon Valley campus, and five other in the New York Silicon Alley campus. The ambition is to "achieve in ten weeks what they would have achieved on their own in a year".


    Among the four previous Impact USA promotions, 48 startups were accelerated. 80% of alumni now have a foot in the American market. Over 132m$ were raised during or after the programme, and over 200 business contracts were signed in the States.


    Aspiring startups have until 5 January to apply (www.impact-north-america.com). Beyond this date, applications will be taken into account for the second 2018 promotion. Each startup will be evaluated based on the salience of its project with regards to the American market, its product, references, its team and its capacities to sustain such a project.
